Crunchy Arab Buns
Since Calvin loves to eat sandwiches from Subway, I decided to create my own version with these Arab Buns bought from MyDin and some leftover ingredients.
Here are the ingredients you need to serve 2 person.
1) A leftover can of tuna in mayonnaise
2) 2 slices of cheese
3) 2 pieces of Arab Buns
4) Butter
5) Tomato sauce
6) Thousand Island Dressing
Dice leftover vegetables:
1) Half a piece of green peppers
2) Half a slide of red tomato
3) Half a piece of onion
4) Half a piece of cucumber. Remove core.
Marinate vegetables with:
4) Butter to taste
5) Tomato sauce to taste
6) Thousand Island Dressing to taste
Method
1) Place 2 buns on a pan over small fire to toast the bottoms. You do not have to grease the pan.
2) Turn over to toast the surface of buns.
3) Place a slice of cheese on top of each bun.
4) Place the marinated vegetable on top of the cheese. Check surface of buns touching pan to ensure that they are not over toasted.
5) Turn off the fire but leave buns on pans. Add the tuna on top of vegetable fillings.
Ready to serve once buns are well toasted.
